This policy applies to the Canlah GEO browser extension and its account, monitoring and subscription services, operated by Canlah AI. It explains the data used to monitor how brands appear in supported AI answers.

Data we process and why

  • Account: Google account identifier and verified email address, sign-in sessions, extension installation identifiers, and trial and access status. These enable login, a seven-day trial, account security and access control. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Monitoring: brands, keywords, prompts and settings you configure; collected AI answers, citations and source links; engine, timestamps and run results. Active monitoring can send the full collected answer to our service to save and display your monitoring results. Avoid including confidential or sensitive personal information in monitoring prompts.
  • Optional contribution: when enabled, supported AI pages are processed to extract structured brand mentions, citations, answer hashes and related monitoring metadata. This is separate from active monitoring. Turning off contribution does not turn off uploads made by active monitoring.
  • Service operation: IP addresses, browser and extension versions, time zone, engine availability, queue and activity status, errors and diagnostic information. These support synchronization, reliability, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
  • Subscriptions: Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan, payment status and billing event records. Stripe handles payment details; our service does not store full payment card numbers. The current internal test uses Stripe test mode and does not charge real money.

Browser access and storage

The extension uses permissions on supported AI sites to run monitoring queries and read relevant answer content. It uses local browser storage for settings, credentials and monitoring state, and communicates with Canlah services for account access, synchronization and results. It does not request access to your Gmail messages or Google Drive files.

Service providers and limited use

Google provides sign-in, Stripe provides billing, and Cloudflare and Google Cloud provide hosting and storage used by our services. Queries sent to supported AI websites are also processed under those websites' policies. Service providers may process data outside your country.

We use data for the extension's user-facing monitoring, account and subscription features, and for security and support. We do not sell extension user data or use it for personalized advertising. Canlah GEO's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Use of Chrome extension user data is limited to the purposes disclosed here and complies with the Chrome Web Store Limited Use requirements.

Retention and your choices

You can stop monitoring, turn off optional contribution, sign out or uninstall the extension. Uninstalling removes the extension's local data but does not by itself delete server records or cancel a subscription. Trial records may be retained to prevent repeated free trials. Account, monitoring, billing and security records are retained as needed to provide the service, resolve requests, prevent abuse and meet applicable obligations; the trial ending does not automatically delete them.

Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your data or account. We may need to verify account ownership. Deletion requests require processing and are not instantaneous; we will explain any records that need to be retained. Subscription cancellation is handled separately through the billing portal or by contacting support.

Security and changes

Connections to our service use HTTPS, and access to account and subscription operations is authenticated. No service can guarantee absolute security. We will update this page when our data practices change and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.

  • 可选贡献：开启后，扩展会从支持的 AI 页面中提取品牌提及、引用、答案哈希及相关监测元数据。这与主动监测相互独立；关闭贡献并不关闭主动监测产生的上传。
  • 运行信息：IP 地址、浏览器与扩展版本、时区、引擎可用性、队列与活动状态、错误和诊断信息，用于同步、可靠性、故障处理及防止滥用。
  • 订阅：Stripe 客户与订阅标识、套餐、支付状态及账单事件记录。支付详情由 Stripe 处理，我们的服务不保存完整银行卡号。当前内测使用 Stripe 测试模式，不产生真实扣款。

浏览器权限与存储

扩展在支持的 AI 网站上使用权限来执行监测查询、读取相关答案，并在浏览器本地保存设置、凭证与监测状态。扩展与 Canlah 服务通信以处理账号权限、同步和结果。扩展不申请读取 Gmail 邮件或 Google Drive 文件的权限。

服务提供商及用途限制

Google 提供登录服务，Stripe 提供账单服务，Cloudflare 和 Google Cloud 提供服务所需的托管与存储。发送至支持的 AI 网站的查询还受相应网站政策约束。服务提供商可能在你所在国家以外处理数据。

数据用于用户可见的监测、账号、订阅功能及安全和支持。我们不出售扩展用户数据，也不将其用于个性化广告。我们对从 Google API 获取的信息的使用和传输遵守 Google API 服务用户数据政策及其 Limited Use 要求；对 Chrome 扩展用户数据的使用限于本政策披露的用途，并遵守 Chrome 应用商店 Limited Use 要求。

保留期限与用户选择

你可以停止监测、关闭可选贡献、退出登录或卸载扩展。卸载会移除扩展的本地数据，但不会自动删除服务器记录或取消订阅。为防止重复领取免费试用，试用记录可能被保留。账号、监测、账单和安全记录按提供服务、处理请求、防止滥用及履行适用义务的需要保留；试用结束不会自动删除记录。

你可以联系我们申请访问、更正或删除数据及账号。我们可能需要核实账号归属。删除请求需要处理，不会即时完成；如有需要保留的记录，我们会说明原因。订阅取消需单独通过账单门户或联系客服办理。

安全与政策更新

与我们服务的连接使用 HTTPS，账号和订阅操作需要身份验证。任何服务都无法保证绝对安全。数据处理方式变化时，我们会更新本页面，并在需要时另行通知或取得同意。
