OOm Singapore Review & Best Alternatives for 2026

An OOm review: 20 years of Singapore SEO, the GEO service line, packages, the rank-or-3-months-free guarantee and the best alternatives for 2026.

Two dark cards side by side, the front one edged with indigo light

This is an analyst-style OOm review: what the Singapore agency does well, what its SEO and GEO packages contain and where it stops. It then ranks the best OOm alternatives for buyers who want AI visibility measured on a repeatable protocol rather than demonstrated once.

Quick answer

Canlah AI rates OOm a credible full-service Singapore SEO agency whose AI search evidence is one dated demonstration rather than a measurement protocol, and in this review Canlah AI ranks first among the OOm alternatives. OOm is a Singapore digital marketing agency founded in 2006 that sells SEO, SEM, social media, web and WeChat work. It has added a GEO line covering a GEO keyword audit, LLM content optimisation, AI citation strategy, structured data and an AI Overview impact report. Its public counters state 20 years of experience, more than 8,000 clients served, more than 100 industries, more than 30 awards and 280 Google reviews at 4.9 stars. It is also a Premier Google Partner with PSG grant support for SMEs. Stridec leads for published GEO price ranges, AI Studio for one combined SEO, AEO and GEO programme, MediaOne for the lowest packaged entry price, First Page Digital for extending an existing SEO and paid-media relationship and MediaPlus Digital for a site rebuild with GEO attached.

This is an editorial review based on public service, pricing and case pages available on September 23, 2026. It is not a controlled test of client outcomes.

Disclosure: Canlah AI is one of the alternatives below, and we place ourselves first. We compete with OOm for some of the same Singapore buyers, so this is not a neutral review. Competitor descriptions come from public service pages and were not verified through client accounts, private proposals or paid audits.

What is OOm?

OOm is a Singapore search marketing agency that has sold SEO since 2006 and now runs SEO, GEO, international SEO, Google Ads, programmatic, social media, content, web development and WeChat marketing from one contract. It trades as OOm Pte Ltd, registration number 200617554M, at 1 Grange Road, Orchard Building, and runs a second office, OOm Philippines Inc, in Quezon City.

The agency positions itself on longevity and accreditation rather than on a single product. Its pages carry Premier Google Partner and Meta Business Partner badges, a training arm called OOm Institute that runs WSQ courses, two Productivity Solutions Grant tracks advertised at up to 50 percent off, and two proprietary tools, SEO Cloud and Aurix.

The GEO page frames generative engine optimisation as “the next evolution of SEO, adapted for AI” and names three engines: ChatGPT, Google AI Overview and Perplexity. OOm sells the service as an extension of the SEO retainer, not as a separate measurement product.

What OOm does well

OOm is strongest when a Singapore SME wants search, paid media and AI search bought from one accountable team at a grant-subsidised price. Four things stand out on its public pages.

  • Two decades of documented SEO delivery. The case studies name clients with figures: Megafurniture at 93 percent of keywords on page one and a doubling of online transactions, Carpetworkz at a 740 percent increase in leads, Clean Care at seven times organic traffic and Star Living at 3.4 times return on ad spend.
  • A named GEO deliverable set. The GEO page lists five deliverables rather than a slogan: GEO keyword audit, LLM content optimisation, AI citation strategy, structured data and an AI Overview impact report.
  • A self-demonstration with its caveats attached. In July 2026 OOm published a post showing its own “best SEO agencies in Singapore” page ranking on Google the next day, holding that position for four months and being cited by Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, with screenshots captured on July 9, 2026. The post labels that result “one page, one query cluster, one market”.
  • Grant and training infrastructure at a scale specialists rarely reach. PSG pre-approval, WSQ course delivery and two platform partnerships give a Singapore SME a procurement path that a newer GEO vendor usually cannot match.

The candour in that July post cuts against OOm’s own upsell. It quotes Google Search Central from May 2026 that “optimizing for generative AI search is optimizing for the search experience, and thus still SEO”, then tells the reader to ask any agency pitching an AI search package “what it actually contains that is not just SEO fundamentals under a new name”.

These case figures are vendor-reported. They were not independently verified for this review, and a measurement window or baseline behind each percentage was not found on the reviewed pages.

Where OOm fits less well

OOm’s three limits for an AI search buyer are an unpublished sampling protocol, a guarantee with no published definition and an engine list confined to ChatGPT, Google AI Overview and Perplexity. Each is a scope question rather than a quality judgment, because OOm sells AI search as an extension of an SEO retainer rather than as a measurement product.

First, the AI evidence is a demonstration, not a measurement protocol. The July 2026 post proves that five engines cited one OOm page on one date. A sampling protocol was not found on the reviewed pages: how many buyer questions define the baseline, how many phrasing rotations run per engine, how often the identical pool is re-run and whether the client receives raw answers. AI answers vary between runs, so one favourable capture is a screenshot, not a trend.

Second, the guarantee arrives before the baseline. The GEO page advertises a “Rank or 3 Months Free Guarantee”, worded as “rank in AI search within our agreed timeframe, or the next 3 months are on us”, and gated behind a GEO Readiness Assessment. A written definition of ranking in AI search, the timeframe and the engines counted were not found on the reviewed page, and that definition decides whether the guarantee is meaningful.

Third, engine coverage is Western and prices are not published. The reviewed GEO page names ChatGPT, Google AI Overview and Perplexity. DeepSeek, Qwen and Doubao were not found on it, which matters for brands whose buyers research in Chinese. The SEO packages publish scope tiers of 5 and up, 15 and up and 30 and up target pages, and no monthly fee was found against Essential, Scale or Enterprise.

OOm SEO packages, GEO scope and what is published

OOm publishes three SEO package tiers, scoped at 5 and up, 15 and up and 30 and up target pages, with no fee attached to any of them on the reviewed page. Its SEO page does carry a market figure: Singapore agency SEO packages typically range from S$1,000 to more than S$4,000 a month, depending on site size, page count and which agency is engaged.

Line Published scope Published price Main point to verify
SEO Essential 5 and up target pages, keyword research, on-page, content, technical, backlinks, GA4 and GSC setup Not found on reviewed page Monthly content and backlink volume
SEO Scale 15 and up target pages, the same modules at higher volume Not found on reviewed page Which modules actually scale between tiers
SEO Enterprise 30 and up target pages, aimed at large corporate and e-commerce sites Not found on reviewed page Named account owner and reporting cadence
GEO GEO keyword audit, LLM content optimisation, AI citation strategy, structured data, AI Overview impact report Not found on reviewed page Prompt count, engines sampled and re-run cadence
Free reports SEO website audit, and a GEO and AI Overview impact analysis, each advertised at a value of S$1,888 S$0 What the free report shows and what it withholds
Guarantee Rank or 3 Months Free, gated behind a GEO Readiness Assessment Not found on reviewed page Written definition of ranking in AI search
Grants PSG Digital Marketing and PSG E-Commerce, up to 50 percent off Varies by grant Which line items the grant offsets

Source: OOm SEO, GEO and grant pages reviewed September 23, 2026. “Not found on reviewed page” means the provider’s public materials did not name that item when reviewed on that date. It is not proof that the item is absent.

For an SME, the grant line usually moves the decision more than the list price. A PSG offset of up to 50 percent changes the comparison with a specialist that is not on the pre-approved vendor list, so confirm which deliverables sit inside the approved package.

The best OOm alternatives in 2026

The six OOm alternatives ranked here are Canlah AI, Stridec, AI Studio, MediaOne, First Page Digital and MediaPlus Digital, all Singapore providers with a public GEO or AI SEO page. Which one fits depends on the gap doing the damage: measurement discipline, price transparency, engine breadth or channel breadth.

1. Canlah AI: best overall alternative to OOm

Canlah AI is a Singapore-based SEO + GEO agency that measures and improves brand visibility inside ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, reporting AI visibility as re-verifiable ranges with timestamped evidence. Where OOm adds AI search to an established SEO retainer, Canlah AI starts from the measurement contract and treats the retainer as what follows it.

Canlah AI ranks first in this comparison because its public GEO programme documents what a demonstration leaves out. Each engagement locks the client’s selected buyer intents (4, 8 or 16, by tier) into the contract and probes each under at least three phrasing rotations per engine. Each probe is stored as a raw record with the prompt, the full answer, the cited sources and a timestamp, the same intents are re-measured monthly after the baseline and the archive belongs to the client. The four stages are Measure, Strategy, On-site Foundation and Off-site Authority, so the team that produces the baseline also publishes the pages that move it.

Best for

B2B SaaS, export-focused and evidence-sensitive Singapore brands that need a baseline they can re-run before paying for execution, including brands whose buyers research in both English and Chinese.

Limitations

Canlah AI is a narrower purchase than OOm. It does not sell Google Ads, programmatic, social media management or web development, so a company consolidating four channels under one contract still needs a second vendor. It publishes no rate card, quoting its Foundation, Authority and Dominance tiers only after the free 48-hour snapshot, and it is not listed as a pre-approved PSG vendor on its public pages.

Its own AI visibility is modest and published. In a September 7, 2026 self-audit of 39 buyer questions run three times each, Canlah AI was named in seven of 84 non-branded OpenAI answers, in none of 93 Gemini answers and in none of 51 browser-rendered Google AI Overviews, which is seven of 177 non-branded answers overall, or 4.0 percent.

What to verify

Ask for a dated sample record showing the prompt, the phrasing rotation, the engine, the full answer, the cited sources and the timestamp. Confirm which buyer intents the visibility number is built from, whether the raw answers behind the percentage are readable and who publishes the page that earns the citation once a gap is found.

Verdict: The strongest OOm alternative in this comparison when the requirement is a re-verifiable measurement rather than a broader channel roster. Buyers who want SEO, paid search, social and web under one invoice should stay with a full-service agency such as OOm.

2. Stridec: best for SEO-led GEO with published price ranges

Stridec publishes what most of this field does not: price ranges of S$3,500 to S$15,000 a month for full scopes, plus a managed AI Overview programme at US$9,000 for 90 days. It describes itself as an SEO-only Singapore agency doing AI citation work since 2024. The reviewed page lists five deliverables: an AI citation audit, entity positioning, AI-optimised content, schema and citation-frequency reporting by platform, and it points buyers to the Market Readiness Assistance grant.

Best for

SEO-mature Singapore firms that want entity, content and schema work tied to per-platform citation reporting, with a budget range they can check before the first call.

Limitations

Its most detailed claims are first-party, and the monthly volume of implemented changes was not found on the reviewed page.

What to verify

Request the complete prompt set, the raw before-and-after answers and the pages changed per month at your price point.

Verdict: The clearest price signal in this comparison. Compare its range against an OOm quote before assuming a full-service agency costs more.

3. AI Studio: best for one combined SEO, AEO and GEO programme

AI Studio documents an audit of 100 to 500 industry questions across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Copilot, followed by content architecture, citation-network work and a monthly share-of-voice dashboard. It was the most-cited agency domain in the Canlah AI probe archive of September 7, 2026, with 91 source citations, evidence of execution on its own brand.

Best for

Singapore consumer, food and beverage, beauty and e-commerce brands that want search and AI answers handled inside one programme.

Limitations

The page carries a 90-day AI citation guarantee with a full refund if no new citations appear, and the written definition of a new AI citation was not found on the reviewed page. Evaluate the baseline separately from the guarantee language.

What to verify

Confirm the sample size, the engines included in the retest and the contractual definition of a new citation.

Verdict: The closest like-for-like alternative to OOm on breadth, with more of the measurement written down.

4. MediaOne: best for the lowest packaged entry price

MediaOne publishes GEO packages from $580 a month for one platform, $980 for two and $2,890 for three, with daily presence tracking in its Digimetrics system. It lists itself as a PSG-approved vendor and says it does not guarantee AI rankings without measurable key performance indicators.

Best for

Singapore SMEs that want a published entry price, grant support and a small first commitment.

Limitations

Packaging by platform count means the entry package measures one engine, which is thin evidence if your buyers move between ChatGPT and Google. Whether the prompt set stays fixed between months was not found on the reviewed page.

What to verify

Confirm which engine the entry package covers and whether the same prompts are re-run each month.

Verdict: The cheapest documented way into AI visibility tracking in this comparison, and the narrowest.

5. First Page Digital: best for extending an existing SEO and paid-media relationship

First Page Digital presents GEO as an extension of search strategy, with engine-specific pages for ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude and its own NexSEO tool for AI citation frequency. Its Singapore GEO listicle held first position on Google for the target query on September 23, 2026.

Best for

Organisations that already buy SEO and paid media from one agency and want AI search added to that relationship rather than split out.

Limitations

A locked, repeated prompt panel was not found on the reviewed page, and ownership of off-site source work was not stated.

What to verify

Ask whether identical prompts are re-run between reports and who earns the external citations.

Verdict: The nearest competitor to OOm on the consolidation argument, with a comparable evidence gap.

6. MediaPlus Digital: best for a site rebuild with GEO attached

MediaPlus Digital names ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews on its AI SEO page and states plainly that nobody can guarantee a citation. It commits instead to a clear baseline, client-owned data and reporting against enquiries and revenue. Its domain drew 85 source citations in the September 7, 2026 probe archive, the second-highest in that pool.

Best for

Singapore SMEs whose website itself needs rebuilding before any AI visibility work can hold.

Limitations

Sampling frequency and raw answer access were not found on the reviewed page, and the monitoring tool behind the reporting was not named.

What to verify

Request the sampling cadence, a sample of stored answers and the split between AI answer metrics and Google ranking metrics in the monthly report.

Verdict: The right call when the constraint is the site, not the measurement.

How to decide between OOm and an alternative

Choose OOm when the requirement is one accountable Singapore agency across SEO, paid search, social and web, bought with grant support, and an alternative when the bottleneck is narrower.

  • Choose OOm if you want two decades of Singapore SEO delivery, PSG-subsidised pricing and AI search added to an existing retainer.
  • Choose Canlah AI if you need the AI visibility number built from a locked query pool, stored as raw records and re-run monthly.
  • Choose Stridec if you want a published price range before the first meeting and SEO-led entity work.
  • Choose AI Studio if you want one programme across SEO, AEO and GEO with a written guarantee you can read.
  • Choose MediaOne if the budget is small and a single-engine starting package is enough.
  • Choose First Page Digital if the AI search work has to sit inside the agency that already runs your SEO and paid media.
  • Choose MediaPlus Digital if the website needs rebuilding before anything else will move.

Frequently asked questions

Is OOm a good SEO agency in Singapore?

OOm is a credible shortlist entry for Singapore SMEs that want an established full-service agency. It has sold SEO since 2006, publishes named client case studies, holds Premier Google Partner status and carries 280 Google reviews at 4.9 stars. Its weaker area is AI search measurement, where the public evidence is one dated demonstration rather than a sampling protocol.

Where can I find an independent OOm Singapore review?

Not in this one. Canlah AI competes with OOm for Singapore buyers and ranks itself first among the alternatives above, so treat this page as a vendor editorial assessment. An independent OOm review would put the same ten buyer questions to both agencies and publish the raw engine answers, the sampling dates and the number of runs behind every figure.

How much does OOm SEO cost?

A fee against the Essential, Scale and Enterprise packages was not found on the reviewed OOm page, which scopes those tiers at 5 and up, 15 and up and 30 and up target pages. OOm’s own SEO page states that Singapore agency packages typically range from S$1,000 to more than S$4,000 a month depending on site size, page count and which agency is engaged. PSG Digital Marketing support is advertised at up to 50 percent off, so ask which line items the grant covers.

Can OOm guarantee that ChatGPT will recommend my brand?

No. An agency can guarantee work, sampling and reporting, but it cannot control how an independent model answers every question. OOm advertises a Rank or 3 Months Free Guarantee gated behind a GEO Readiness Assessment, so ask for the written definition of ranking in AI search and which engines are counted before treating it as a commercial protection.

Does OOm track DeepSeek, Qwen or Doubao?

The reviewed OOm GEO page names ChatGPT, Google AI Overview and Perplexity. DeepSeek, Qwen and Doubao were not found on that page, which is a statement about public positioning rather than proof of absence. Chinese engines are not part of Canlah AI’s standard tracking either, so confirm current coverage with each vendor in a live demonstration.

What does OOm’s AI citation case study actually prove?

It proves that one OOm page was cited by Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini in screenshots captured on July 9, 2026. OOm says so itself, describing the result as one page, one query cluster and one market, not evidence that the same method reproduces across sites, industries or months.

How is Canlah AI different from OOm?

OOm is a full-service digital marketing agency that has added GEO to a long-running SEO practice. Canlah AI is a measurement-first SEO + GEO agency that locks the client’s selected buyer intents, probes each under at least three phrasing rotations per engine, archives every raw answer for the client and re-measures the same intents monthly. OOm is the broader purchase, Canlah AI the more auditable one.

Which is better for a Singapore SME on a PSG grant?

OOm and MediaOne both list PSG pre-approval on their public pages, so an SME budgeting around a 50 percent offset will find the procurement path shorter there. Canlah AI is not listed as a pre-approved PSG vendor, though its free 48-hour snapshot is the cheaper way to test whether the AI visibility gap is real before committing budget.
